Perfect Way by Pastor Ed Young

He talked before thousands of people but after they talked, they would walk to Jericho. They would walk for two or three hours to Jericho. They would sit by a well under an olive tree. Talk. Laugh. Have a good time and Christ joked around. Jesus used humor. For example He said, “Don’t concern yourself with your sister’s speck in her eye when you have a redwood in yours”. That was biblical humor. That was funny back in those days.

So Christ and the disciples would sit back and it really is, it’s funny when you think about the picture of it. They would sit back and talk and get replenished. Then they would get up and walk until sunset. They would build a fire. Wait for the coals to get right.  They would go out of course and catch the fish, bring the fish in, scale the fish, cook the fish. All the time they were talking, resting, relaxing, they were replenishing their tanks.

Folks, we need to get out of the crisis mode. We need to get out of our rpms being pegged and apply these A-B-Cs. Anger, Jesus got angry in a perfect way.  We think anger’s all negative, anger is positive, it’s a good thing.  Anger so often can drive people without Christ to Christ.  I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a number of 20 something’s.  And, and I think there’s more anger in young people today than ever before.  I really believe that and here’s why.

I think due to advances, due to technology due to many other things, our fast and furious culture these young people have experienced stuff that most of us have never experienced and we’re much, much older than 20 something and they try this and they’ve tried that, they smoke that, they’ve slept there they’ve bought that and they have this low grade anger boiling up in their spirit something is wrong.
